OBSERVATION MISSION OF RUSSIAN PARLIAMENT HAILS SNAP PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN AZERBAIJAN

The observation mission of the Russian parliament has held a press conference Thursday on the results of the snap presidential election.

The head of the delegation Grigory Karasin hailed the organization of the election in an open format and at a satisfactory level. He said that he had monitored about 9 polling stations in Baku.

“People were waiting for their turn to vote and they had smiles on their faces. This was a very important moment. I was pleasantly surprised that the election process was held in buildings with spacious halls. The elections were organized in a responsible manner and within an authorized framework. Good conditions were created for all international observers,” Grigory Karasin said.
