
“The World Shooting Championship is held every four years. The last time the competition was hosted by the Republic of Korea in 2018,” Secretary General of Azerbaijan’s Shooting Federation Emin Jafarov said at a press conference dedicated to the World Shooting Championship to be held in Baku.
“The World Shooting Championship in Baku will welcome 1260 athletes from 104 countries. The competition will be held at the Baku Crystal Hall from August 14 to September 1. Athletes will vie for medals in 55 disciplines, 12 of them will be individual ones. The shooters who will take the first four places in individual events will qualify for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games,” he added.
